Most experiments have been carried out in which women sniff a sweaty T-shirt or a vial of chemical and record which is more attractive to them.

The results, while conclusive, have never been overwhelming on the side of the t-shirt or vial spiked with sexual attraction pheromones. That means that a percentage of good size preferred the other. This is because our genes have programmed us to find different scents more appealing than others.

Please note that all these experiments have been carried out without the presence of the man who made the pheromones. If you put it there with the smell, then you have two senses to make the decision and this is more powerful than just one.

So do pheromones work or not? They do work, creating initial interest and that’s it. They do nothing else. You will still have to trust that you can flirt and create sexual tension. In the wild, the animal still needs to fight or strut to ensure attraction.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t use them, that’s completely up to you. Personally, I see them as a lot of ladies and that’s like a crutch that holds you up. Women want you to be attractive without ‘chemical cheating’. If you want to wear a scent, get a great range of men’s care products and use it. Stay neat and fit and be confident. That in itself will help you produce your own pheromones. Remember that not all women find the same scent attractive (pheromones are a scent) but everyone likes a good flirtation and sexual tension, so what does that tell you?
