Statues and sculptures have been around for a long time and serve many different functions. Some people display them as a form of souvenir, while other people display sculptures as a form of worship. Some people find comfort and healing in their appearance. Whatever the reason, statues have played and continue to play an important role in the lives of people all over the world.

Symbolism The sculptures have a symbolic meaning. For example, the Statue of Liberty represents/is a symbol of freedom and independence for Americans. For others, pig statues and pig figurines (especially gold ones) symbolize a desire for wealth and an effort to achieve financial gain and prosperity. Worship We read in the Bible and other historical documents that replicas of people and symbols were and are used as a form of worship. There are many religions around the world that use statues in their religious worship. Healing statues are often given to people who are sick or seriously ill. The statues can bring peace and comfort, as well as heal those who are sick. Religious statues are often given to the sick. Many people believe in and gain strength and healing from statues (both religious and non-religious statues).

Statues are a great asset to add to any home or building. Some of the most popular statues displayed in homes and public buildings are: Buddha, Virgin Mary, Christus, Nativity, and Willow. It doesn’t matter where you go. Statues are everywhere and are a part of everyday life.
