How to be more innovative

Can you be more innovative? To be honest, I don’t know. I think 40 percent of the population can never be good at innovating no matter what they do. 10% of the population is born to innovate. They always knew what they want to do and how they can achieve it.

The rest of the 50 percent could learn to be good at innovating if they can persuade their brain to turn on its light in the dark, instead of waiting for others to rescue them.

Innovation is not just about technology. You can innovate in any field of work or in every aspect of your lifestyle. For example, Facebook and Google treat their employees better than any other company. Management invented a unique way to motivate employees.

So how to become more innovative? That is how

Observe and ask questions.

Make this a habit. Whenever you discover something new, observe and answer three questions.

  • Why would someone use or buy this service/product?
  • Would you ever buy this service/product? And because
  • How can you improve?

By answering these questions, you are developing your mind to be more innovative. Don’t be afraid to sound stupid when you answer. You will learn along the way.

Be critical when answering them.

Objective to solve problems

The invention is useless if it cannot solve problems. Every invention in history had a purpose, a way to solve problems.

How to find problems?

  • talk to people
  • Think of different ways to make life easier
  • Investigation of failed projects and the intent behind them

Once your mind is set up to solve problems, you will begin to generate new and quality ideas. This exercise will make you more innovative.

Think about the problems you face every day.

Make a list of 10 ideas every day.

I list ten ideas every morning because that’s when my brain can unleash its full power. You must do it at the time that suits you best.

Here’s a trick: don’t think you can’t do it, just do it. Grab a pen and paper and start writing down your ideas.

It can be anything you like or want to change, such as:

  • How to make life easier
  • How to sell more products
  • How to improve business contacts
  • How to improve the profits of SMEs
  • How to improve health with little expense in personal coaching

Make a list of all the ideas that come to mind, even if they were invented. You may want to improve an interesting idea.

Let’s do the math ten ideas a day all year long

10×365 = 3650 ideas per year

If you have more than 3000 bad ideas, 500 ideas are already available, you still have more than 100 ideas to choose from.

You just need an idea to get you where you want to be.

change your attitude

If you want to become an innovator, you need to change your attitude.

ARREST saying “you can’t”

BEGIN saying “maybe”

These words should be removed from your brain if you want to think and become an innovator.

  • “I can not do it”
  • “It will not work”
  • “I’m not sure”
  • “He/She can do better than me”

When you have a problem or can’t understand things, then it’s easier to walk. Then when you have a problem or can’t understand, do things differently.

  • Start mind maps on how to solve
  • Learn in a different way
  • Ask for help

As of today, phrases like “I can if…” begin instead of “I can’t because…”

To take action

You can read thousands of articles, read many books, ask for advice but it won’t happen until you take action.

How many times have you decided to lose weight, read articles on how to lose weight, asked for advice and joined the gym?

After a month you did not lose any weight, why? Because you had the knowledge but you never put it into action.

Once you’ve decided to do something, even if you die doing it, it should be fine with you.

Innovators take action. They are committed to their work, their ideas, and will stick with it even if they die.

Simply because they think they can.

“Anything your mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve no matter how many times you have failed in the past.” By Napoleon Hill.
