You know, my wife cheated on me with another man and almost broke my heart in two. While I was going through the adventure, I think I finally figured out why women cheat.

What I would like to share with you is what I think are the top 3 reasons women cheat:

#1 – Boredom, women need spice

Yes, you read it right. A lot of times women are just bored with their husband, especially if they are a stay at home mom.

Often times, the long days spent alone are too much for a woman, and she begins to crave the company of a man while her husband is away. Many times sexual boredom also plays a big part in driving them away, but often the thoughts of cheating come up when they’re actually just that…bored.

#2 – Right to Sexual Variety

I wasn’t really kidding about that 21st century stuff at the beginning of this article.

Women now more than ever feel entitled to have a good sex life; if they don’t get it at home, they get it elsewhere. Simple as that.

#3 – Revenge

Actually, this is NOT the most common reason women cheat, believe it or not.

Usually, when your wife cheats on you to get back at you, it’s just as likely to be something you did NOT do as it is something you did. She could go back to sexual entitlement, although you shouldn’t confuse revenge with sexual entitlement as the cause of an affair.

If your wife just wants a good sex life and sleeps with another man just because she’s not satisfied, that’s reason #2. That is not the same as wanting a good sex life and then getting back at you for not giving it to her by sleeping with another man, that would be Reason #3.
