Vail Resorts – Finding the perfect place to stay in Vail is easy

Vail resorts, famous for their pristine snow and 5,000 acres of free ride terrain … you’re blessed not only with the perfect land and environment for an enjoyable ski vacation, but with the amenities that make a vacation package a complete experience.

For those with virtually unlimited vacation money, or even on a budget, families and individuals would have no problem reserving a place to stay. Most, if not all, of the hotels and condos are already online and you can make your arrangements in advance so that as soon as you arrive, you can immediately enjoy all the activities the venue has in store.

But which Vail hosting should you opt for? With hundreds of hotels, ski lodges, condos, and even private homes to choose from, the perfect place is out there.

Hotels and Resorts: Hotels are the easiest and most convenient accommodations to find. Because many of the tourists who come to visit Vail year after year are from the upper class, most of the first-class hotel chains and resorts can be found there. Guests receive excellent service and great amenities when they stay at any of these opulent hotels that are designed to truly pamper and please. Indoor and outdoor pools, gyms, spas, full concierge service, and hot tubs are just a few of these facilities.

Some of the more popular hotels in the area include the Sonnenalp Resort, The Arrabelle at Vail Square, The Lion Square Lodge, Vail Plaza Club and Hotel, and Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa, to name a few. Some of these luxury hotels can be quite expensive at $ 1,000 + a night, but there are also those with more affordable rates.

Condominiums: While most families are perfectly happy to make use of the luxurious facilities that luxury hotels and ski resorts offer, there are also those who would like more living space than a typical hotel room can provide. Perfect for large families and groups of friends, Vail condos are also a great place to come home after a day of skiing, hiking, biking, or snowboarding. Most units have a full kitchen, so you can still relish some home-cooked food even on vacation. Common parking areas and hallways, laundry facilities, and many amenities available in a hotel, such as swimming pools and high-speed Internet access, can also be had in the condo units.

Private houses / House rentals: For those who plan to extend their stay a bit and want to stay somewhere that has the space and privacy of their own home, there is also a wide range of vacation rental homes available. From the largest four-bedroom home to the coziest one or two-bedroom units, you can always find your home away from home. Fully furnished and loaded with the comforts of home, such as a full-size kitchen, indoor heat or fireplaces, hot tubs, and multiple bedrooms, these privately owned residences are impeccably maintained year-round. Some even come with a pool and barbecue area where you can probably host a party or two. Additionally, many of these homes easily sit within a stone throne from downtown Vail. The restaurants and shops in Vail Village, Lionshead, and Golden Peak are just minutes away, either by walking or by transportation.

Cabins: The more adventurous traveler who wants to be in closer contact with nature can stay in any of the wooden cabins available in the area. Many are outfitted with stone fireplaces to keep you warm and cozy in your mountain retreat.
