The cautious businessman

Entrepreneur, someone who starts a business and takes risk for profit. No wonder some of us are reluctant to become entrepreneurs with “Risk” involved. It stops most of us in our tracks.

Have you ever thought that you could be spinning in your life and not fulfilling your dreams? He is itchy but can’t seem to scratch it.

You know you want something more out of life, but you’re not sure what that something could be.

I had those thoughts too and this blog post is about how we make life changing decisions and why we are sometimes forced to let go of our security blanket so we can let something else into our lives even if it seems like we are. taking a risk. . We may even have to start from scratch scary as it could be even worse, it could be out of our control.

So if you think you may not be manifesting the life you want due to fear related to taking risks, then keep reading:

I confess that when I had my day job I really wanted to do something different and had thought about it for a long time.

I wanted to be an entrepreneur and do my thing… you know, start a business.

Anyway, this was one of my fantasies, but it was risky and I knew it very well. He had worked (like a dog) for many years for financial security, but yes, I will admit, he was exhausted and physically exhausted. I just wasn’t ready to “give it up” mainly for those financial reasons, too many risks involved in letting go.

I finally made the decision to retire and I had a timeline, I only had a few more months to go before I revealed this to my coworkers and boss. It wasn’t official yet, but I was in that mindset… I’m leaving. retire soon and maybe follow my dream of being an entrepreneur maybe. Retiring would give me the cushion I needed to make this happen, or so I thought…

I was working towards the light at the end of the tunnel and I caught a glimpse of it just beyond my reach.

Then one day my boss wanted to meet with me. Turns out it wasn’t really a meeting but a “lynching” it was unexpected and I just sat there in disbelief. There was nothing I could do. The exact words he used “We’re going to have to let you go”, well done! He fired me.

I remember him saying, “Now if you think you might cry on the way home, just pull over to the side of the road and don’t drive while your little lady is upset.” Say oh! I wanted to laugh and had to control the urge. You know you’re ready to quit your job if you laugh when they tell you you’re fired! My heart said yes! What he actually did was open the cage to let me fly. I’ll send a thank you note one day soon.

I confess that I cried, but I only cried a little and it was days later that I had time to think about the total injustice. I wanted to be the one to break! He wanted to be in control and he wanted to be the one to say goodbye.

I was the oldest person in our department and one of the highest paid, so it makes perfect sense that I would be laid off months before my retirement. Unfortunately, this scenario seems to be all too familiar in today’s corporate America and it might have happened to some of you. Poor pitiful us. Never!

No, for me it was the start of a whole new and exciting chapter, I was finally able to be an entrepreneur.

Luckily I had already started the business path and I didn’t even know it. I had joined a network marketing company in the months leading up to launch, before my friend begged me to join her downline. The venture quickly failed, but I had an idea of what could be, what was possible. I soon joined another.

I had picked myself up, dusted myself off and jumped into my new career as you guessed it… Entrepreneur! I really like the sound.

Lucky for you, you don’t have to go through what I went through to get what you want. The beauty of a multi level marketing business is the flexibility to work 10 hour weeks while building residual income by doing it this way you never have to take away your security. You can have your cake and eat it too.

So if you find yourself in a similar circumstance, remember that if it makes you nervous, it’s probably a good idea. Risk can be a great motivator so don’t be afraid, be a leader, keep going…never look back and don’t regret it, make the most of your circumstances.

If you are in a similar situation or just want to start something new by joining a dynamic network marketing company and become an entrepreneur, just do it.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you. I am here to be your coach, mentor or friend. I will guide you in the right direction.

My door is always open.
