Review of current affairs and world affairs magazines

It is difficult to keep abreast of all current events in world affairs, as there is always some conflict or some negotiation between nations. And then there are rogue nations, the United Nations, and groups trying to come together to find a solution that is fair to all involved, that will not lead to problems with unintended consequences. This is easier than it sounds and it is easy to get lost in international political rhetoric.

Yes, the United States is involved in that rhetoric as much as any other nation and each nation tries to serve its own interests or the interests of its leaders. One way to stay on top of all current events and happenings is to pick up a professional magazine that discusses these topics, where editors go through the articles that appear in all kinds of other publications, and choose the best ones for you to read. There is such a diary that I would like to recommend to you. It is one that I read often, as there are quite a few good articles. The name of the Magazine is;

“Current: Required Reading Recommended by Top Opinion Makers”, published by Routledge – Taylor and Francis Publishing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ISSN: 0011 – 3131.

Let me give you some examples, in the October 2010 issue; number 526 there were several great articles. One was “Too bad it didn’t fail,” by William J Quirk, which questions the CDO markets and derivatives markets. And the rest of the magazine focused on China, which has been in the news quite a bit lately. An article led us to look ahead to the year 2020 with an article titled “The Coming Storm: America in China in 2020” by Ian Bremmer. .

The next article was “China lights the charm” by Helle C Dale. Both articles also appeared in the world affairs magazine in the July and August 2010 issue. You see, it is not easy to read all the magazines and writings of the best universities on these topics, but it is still better to read to see that someone else has reviewed all the articles and have chosen the best ones for us to read. That has a lot of value, especially for someone who leads a group of experts like me. Therefore, I would like to recommend this particular magazine to you, if these topics are of interest. Consider all of this.
