Suns @ 76ers: Obviously both teams can score, but they are not far from being a defensive team either. Iguodala and Dalembert certainly provide a defensive presence, as do Thomas and Diaw for Phoenix. The team that shows some defense in this game must win. We are planning to take control in this game. Predicted score: Phoenix wins 109-104

Bulls @ Mavericks: Normally, the offensive team beats the defensive team in situations like this. But since Dallas is so bland when it comes to stopping field goals, it’s a different story. Jason Terry has to be a better PG. The points are there but his assists are pathetic for a PG on a 30-win team. Kirk Hinrich should get to the rim with ease. This is going to be a very easy road win for the Bulls. Anyway, take them against the spread. Predicted score: Chicago wins 102-87
