Kirby G5 vacuum bags are also designed to fit G5 models. The two model series share spare parts and bags; straps, bag / tube clamp and bag clamp, as examples, fit both series.

Only the G4 cloth bag is sized to exclude the G5 model line, and the G4 vacuum hose, dust brush, upholstery nozzle, wall and ceiling brush and surface nozzle only fit household appliances of that series. As for the Kirby G5, it shares a number of replacement parts with the following line of GSix models. Shared parts include replacement vacuum brush with a magnet; Vacuum fan fits entire Generation 3, G4, G5 and GSix model line; and the filler tube fits not only GSix models, but also Legend, Heritage 1HD, Heritage 2HD, Generation 3, G4 and G5 models.

The GSix vacuum strap is designed as generic to fit all models; as well as replacement fan, fill tube, mat plate, and shampoo brush roller.
