Healthy Skin Diet: Why Juicing Is The Key To Young, Vibrant Skin

Admit it; As we get older, we all look in the mirror one morning and think, my God, I wish I had taken better care of myself. Wrinkles begin to appear, blemishes and blemishes become more pronounced, skin dulls, and we look older!

But what if there was a way to go back in time and make better decisions? Could you look younger? Could you BE younger? Obviously, while reading this article, you hope that the answer is YES, it is possible.

As a nutritionist, after losing weight, the most frequently asked question is what should I do to look younger? Naturally, there are effective methods to improve and maintain overall health, certainly affecting the elasticity and vitality of your skin, with the litany of diets, supplements and skin creams out there, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and put off by false promises. . .

One of the main obstacles facing most Americans and Europeans (particularly those in the UK) is that our diets have affected the body’s natural ability to heal itself. We eat so many lifeless, overly processed, and nutritionally empty foods that our digestive system is overloaded. Therefore, when we finally eat live, nutritionally dense foods, we cannot fully benefit from this nutrition.

Fortunately, there is an answer; two answers actually:

  • juices
  • whole food juice

The benefits of juices
Here’s a great trick for determining if a food is healthy: check the water content. If you cut or squeeze it, is there juice present? Like the human body, all “live” foods have a significant water content. This fluid contains most of the nutrients found in food. According to a study conducted by the Department of Agriculture, 90% of the antioxidant activity found in the 12 fruits studied was in the juice. Furthermore, another study published in the International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition:

“The cardiovascular and anticancer benefits may be attributed more to antioxidants than fiber.” They concluded that “[the theory that] pure fruit and vegetable juices are nutritionally inferior to fruits and vegetables, in relation to the reduction of chronic diseases, it is not justified”

Finally, we have since learned that juicing does not remove all the fiber from fruits and vegetables, only the insoluble fiber is removed.

So why is this beneficial? The answer is, nutrient absorption. As I said before, our diets are loaded with dead foods. This means that the foods we eat are missing the living enzymes our bodies need to digest and absorb nutrients. The body must eliminate other processes and stimulate the actions of organs such as the pancreas to create the necessary enzymes, which are not as efficient.

Juice, on the other hand, is loaded with enzymes and very easy to digest and absorb. Remember in elementary school when you learned that digestion begins in the mouth? That’s because we chew food and it mixes with saliva in our mouths. Jugo simply replicates this process, but on a much more efficient scale!

This means that even in an enzyme deprived body, you will absorb and benefit from the myriad of nutrients found in the juice you drink!
