Can a Carbon Cleaning Machine Be Used on Generators?

Carbon Cleaning Machine

Carbon deposits have been a problem for the internal combustion engine since it was invented, and can reduce power, fuel economy and emissions. Routine cleaning of carbon can prevent problems, and remedial cleaning can remove more severe deposits that have already formed.

A carbon cleaning machine is a small and portable unit, which produces a mix of hydrogen and oxygen gas from electrolysis of distilled water. This is then fed into the air intake of the vehicle being cleaned.

It is a simple process, essentially it runs on mains or a 1000 watt inverter and connects to the vehicle battery (if required) then to the air box. The carbon cleaning cycle can take up to 30-60 mins depending on the size of the engine.

The unit is fitted with a level probe to tell when the liquid carbon cleaner has finished. Once the cycle is complete it is then switched off, a small amount of water should be removed to ensure that it is not in contact with any other engine parts.

This is an eco-friendly, safe and economical method of removing carbon deposits from the engine. No chemical products or dismantling of engine parts are needed, and a dpf cleaning machine will only produce a low amount of gas (hence the low cost).

There is an increasing number of mobile operators or garages who have bought carbon cleaning machines and now offer this service as a service to their customers. Some are franchises, with the franchisor providing all the equipment and training to their network of mechanics.

These operators usually use a carbon cleaning machine with wheels which makes it very easy to move around. This means that they can work on many different types of car, including diesel and petrol engines from 1000cc up to 10000cc, cars, minivans, trucks, buses etc.

The machine is very easy to use, all you need to do is connect the two clamps of the machine to your battery pins and put the end of the hose into your air filter box or air intake. It will start automatically and take approx 20-60 minutes to complete the carbon cleaning cycle.

It will progressively remove carbon build up from the inside of your engines and help it to burn efficiently again, restoring lost performance, improved fuel economy and reducing emissions. It also helps to prevent the clogging of filters, plugs, turbos, intake manifold and EGR systems that can lead to misfiring and engine warning lights.

Some people have reported that their vehicle has picked up some BHP and feels much smoother after using a carbon clean treatment. Others say that the initial boost has disappeared and they have to do the treatment regularly if they want it to remain effective.

This is a relatively new treatment that has been used to treat diesel and petrol engines for several years now, it can help reduce the effects of carbon build up from the engine. It can restore a vehicle’s performance and save you money in the long run, by preventing further issues with fuel consumption, emissions, sluggishness and driveability faults.
