• Visit your local one-stop career center or Goodwill Career Solutions Center and pick up a generic application. Fill it out and ask the staff to make 25 copies for you to hand out when you start networking. Use your completed generic application to complete online jobs and paper applications.
• Attend a resume writing seminar, which is usually offered for free at career centers, urban leagues, community centers, shelters or churches in the area. Be sure to highlight your customer skills, previous work experiences, and other employability skills you possess using action words like accomplished, achieved, kept on top of, engaged, and operated within…

#4 keep in mind this news flash: Actually, it takes time for all job seekers to find a job. It can take 6 weeks or 6 months or more to get a job. Let me recommend that you apply to 100 jobs a week.
