From the four theme parks that Disneyland Resorts has, we move on to the two water parks that Disneyland Resorts has to offer. We first take a look at Blizzard Beach, where they boast one of the fastest free-fall water slides. These are the attractions found at Blizzard Beach:
Chairlift – This is an amazing lift that transports to the green slope area of the mountain namely Slush Gusher, Summit Plummet, Teamboat Springs. With its attractive wooden resort-style chairlifts complete with umbrellas and dangling skis, it’s sure to be a fun ride to the top. Of course, for children under 32 inches, they can use the stairs.
Toboggan Racers – If you are feeling a bit competitive then the Toboggan Racers are sure to make it more fun and enjoyable. This is an 8-lane water slide race that uses slide-style mats. You will navigate Mount Gushmore in a length of 250 feet head first. You should definitely give it a try for older kids, teens, and adults.
Cross Country Creek – This lazy water raft ride traverses a continuously flowing creek and loops through the park. Inner tubes allow you to lift your feet and travel through cave like tunnels, waterfalls. This is another useful transportation to the other attractions in the park.
Tike’s Peak – For little kids, The Tike’s area is for kids under four feet tall. From mini slides for kids that can’t be as big as the ones on Mt. Gushmore. There are shallow kiddie pools with pop-up water jets and a snow castle fountain.
Downhill Double Dipper: Another race-type water slide, but it uses inner tubes. You feel like you’re part of an alpine ski race complete with a time tracker. Of course both slides open equally at the same time to have a fair run. The added challenge is traveling in total darkness down 50-foot-high, 230-foot-long slides that run at 25 miles per hour. Before you know it, you will have reached the end.
Teamboat Springs – It’s perfect for the family as it’s a six-person raft ride. With a length of 1,200 feet, you will definitely have tons of fun and laughter until the end of the ride.
