Stop forcing things to happen and relax knowing it’s already happening for you

It’s already happening to you behind the scenes

What are you trying to make happen in your life right now? Is it a relationship that you hope will grow into something else or a business venture? Whatever it is, I want you to have an idea of the emotions you feel when you think about the situation. I don’t deny what you feel, but I’d like to help you explore another way to get what you want without forcing it to happen. You probably know that forcing things to happen rarely works. In fact, the more we push and strain, the less it happens to us. Many people give up at this point and turn their attention to something else, which is when their desires are manifested.

Can you identify with this? I have fond memories of this experience when I was 20 years old, after graduating from design school. I completed a bachelor’s degree in fashion and was really looking forward to working for a particular luxury fashion house in my state. I sent repeat letters, asking about a potential career within the organization, but nothing came out. This lasted for two years and eventually I got discouraged and stopped chasing him. Within six months, I received a letter from the marketing manager, saying that he had put my letters on file and that there was a vacancy that would do me good. He invited me for an interview and I immediately got the position! I couldn’t believe my luck because I was convinced that if I didn’t do anything to pursue this opportunity, it wouldn’t come. Previously, I tried too hard to force things to happen, which worked against me.

While I realize that it is difficult to put into practice, we must learn to relax about how life unfolds. Chase and effort are signs of despair because they communicate an energy of lack. What I’m saying is: it’s already happening to you behind the scenes, when you allow yourself to relax. Life is an intricate system, with millions of processes taking place beyond our senses. Sometimes when nothing happens, it’s because there is a buzz of activity behind the scenes. So when things get quiet in my life, I get excited because I know the universe is planning something wonderful. Think of a chef who works quietly in the kitchen and suddenly comes up with an exquisite meal in no time.

Coming from a place of no resistance and trust

The universe works according to its own framework, which can be compared to an intricate web, governed by universal laws. When we assume that things are not working, we are not seeing the whole picture that unfolds in the background of our lives. With this in mind, are you content to relax and know that it is already happening to you? Could you allow yourself to fall into this knowledge and trust that they take care of you? I know it’s hard to believe when you don’t see things happening in your physical world. But I invite you to trust the process because when we change the way we see things, the things we look at change. Life takes on a new perspective because our old paradigms don’t work. This is what Albert Einstein meant when he said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them in the first place.” We must develop a new awareness in which to overcome our problems.

A carpenter cannot build a house with kitchen utensils. I know I’m stating the obvious here, but you must use the correct building tools and practices to put together a home that meets building regulations. The same is true for bringing our deepest desires to life. The tools of our trade are our thoughts and emotions, which means learning to collaborate and take advantage of them in our desires. So how does this practice work in real life because I am often asked this question by coaching clients? It involves the art of detachment, that is, separating our desires from wanting them to happen in a certain way. We become less interested, whether they happen or not, because we trust that the universe will bring us what we need according to its timeline, it will not support it. Psychiatrist and consciousness researcher Dr. David Hawkins captures this idea in his book Letting go where he writes: “In a freer state, what is chosen manifests in our life effortlessly. We renounce the emotion of desire and instead simply choose the goal, imagine it lovingly, and allow it to happen because we see that it is. already supports “.

Operating from a place without resistance is a wonderful way to live because we allow life to unfold as it should, rather than pushing for it to happen. Therefore, your romantic interest requires detaching yourself from a desired outcome and relaxing in the knowledge that if the relationship develops, it is okay either way. This is when your life will skyrocket because Things will happen to you when you come from a place of non-resistance and trust.. We can summarize this principle as follows: Trust = Love. Therefore, we must trust and have faith that life is already happening to us, but not in the way we expect. Knowing this, as a journal tip, list three areas in your life that you are trying too hard. Could you learn to trust that things will work out for your highest good, even if it doesn’t look like this right now? Life is working exactly as it should and will bring us what we desire, as long as we align our thoughts with universal intention. It is when you recognize that life is already happening for you that everything you need will reach beyond your wildest dreams.
